Il 5 e 6 febbraio 2021 i Rangzen si ritrovano al BAM Home Studio di Rimini, Italia, per registrare in un video un loro percorso ideale attraverso le band e i generi musicali preferiti.
Per selezionare la scaletta, dalle molte centinaia di brani del loro repertorio, il dibattito è stato lungo e spesso acceso. Il tutto doveva stare in due ore di musica. Si è scelto di eseguire brani non scontati, con diverse hit certamente, ma anche con molti pezzi non troppo conosciuti che, per chi lo vedrà, daranno al concerto anche un certo sapore di novità e freschezza. Per noi questa è musica senza tempo. Si tratta dunque di 26 brani di 21 band... Anche se tante altre avrebbero potuto essere inserite crediamo che qui ci sia il meglio degli anni ’60 e ’70.
Ci sono ovviamente i Beatles e i Rolling Stones ma anche Bowie, i Police e gli Steely Dan, ci sono i Led Zeppelin e Jimi Hendrix ma anche i Kinks e i Buffalo Springfields, e così via da Bob Dylan a Crosby Stills Nash& Young…ai Pink Floyd etc.
Ascoltatelo con un buon impianto e un discreto schermo… E speriamo con questo “From the beginning” di regalarvi due ore di puro piacere lontani dal mondo.

On February 5th and 6th 2021 Rangzen meet at BAM Home Studio in Rimini, Italy, to record their ideal journey through their favorite bands and musical genres in a video. To select the lineup, from the many hundreds of songs in their repertoire, the debate was long and often heated. Everything had to be in two hours of music. We have chosen to perform songs that are not obvious, with several hits certainly, but also with many numbers that are not too well known which, for those who’ll see the concert, will also give a certain flavor of novelty and freshness. For us this is timeless music.
There are therefore 26 songs from 21 bands . Although many others could have been included, we believe that here are the best artists of the 60s and 70s.
There are obviously the Beatles and the Rolling Stones but also Bowie, the Police and Steely Dan, there are Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix but also the Kinks and the Buffalo Springfields, and so on from Bob Dylan and Crosby Stills Nash & Young to Pink Floyd ... etc.
Listen to it with a good system and a decent screen… And we hope with this our “From the beginning” to offer you two hours of pure pleasure far from the world.
